Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 states that the lender (credit card provider) and the goods or services provider are jointly and severally liable to refund the consumer should there have been an element of misrepresentation or breach of contract.
A minimum amount of £100 and no more than £30,000 contribution from the card must be paid.
